Organized by Our Lady of the Lake University
Celebrate Commencement Day at Our Lady of the Lake University (丝瓜AV) with a series of meaningful traditions and events honoring our graduating students.
Graduates, families, and friends are invited to participate in the day鈥檚 activities, including the Ring Blessing Ceremony, Baccalaureate Mass, and the Commencement Exercise. These events mark an important milestone as we celebrate the academic achievements of our graduates and the beginning of their next chapter.
Event Schedule
Ring Blessing Ceremony
- 10 a.m.
- Sacred Heart Chapel
Students may bring class rings or other meaningful items to be blessed during this special prayer service. Regalia not required.
Alumni and Family Meet & Greet
- 10:30 a.m.
- Mall Area
Graduates and their guests are invited to enjoy pastries and refreshments provided by Alumni Relations immediately following the Ring Blessing. Regalia not required.
Baccalaureate Mass Line-up
- 11:30 a.m.
- Cafeteria Hallway
Graduating students should line up in regalia prior to the Mass.
Baccalaureate Mass
- Noon
- Sacred Heart Chapel
Join the university community for this special liturgy celebrating the accomplishments of our graduates. Regalia required. Seating is limited, and guests are encouraged to arrive early.
Commencement Exercise
- 5 p.m.
- Joe and Harry Freeman Coliseum
- 3201 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX
Graduates must check in and be seated by 4:15 p.m. Regalia required.
The commencement ceremony will also be live streamed for those unable to attend in person.
