The Our Lady of the Lake University (丝瓜AV) Spirit squad has made school and national history, bringing home the 2025 NCA NAIA Game Day Division National Championship from Daytona Beach, Florida.

This marks a monumental first鈥斔抗螦V is now the first NAIA program in the nation to win this title, the only San Antonio university to claim a championship in the Game Day Division, and just the second university in the city to ever win an NCA title.

鈥淭o be crowned the first-ever NCA NAIA National Champion in the Game Day Division is a monumental and historic achievement,鈥� said Head Spirit Coach Crystal Brock. 鈥淲e鈥檝e gone from underdogs to trailblazers鈥攍eading with courage, resilience, and authenticity. This title represents every late night, every fall, and every triumph since our program launched in 2021.鈥�

The Saints earned the top spot in the preliminary round with a score of 83.5 (after a two-point deduction). They followed it up with a cleaner routine in the finals鈥攅arning 83.433 and securing 丝瓜AV鈥檚 first national championship in cheer.

Coach Brock shared heartfelt thanks to her coaching staff and university community:

With this championship, 丝瓜AV continues to raise the bar in collegiate spirit competition鈥攑roving that determination, leadership, and heart can build a legacy from the ground up.
