This week, H-E-B awarded 丝瓜AV a Workforce Readiness Grant, providing important support for the University鈥檚 efforts to prepare students for professional success. The grant strengthens ongoing work to expand paid internships, micro-internships, employer connections, and skill-building opportunities that help Saints move confidently into the workforce.

Following our award ceremony, there was only one thing left to do in order to start making an impact with the grant鈥� get the award into the bank to start these transformative programs as fast as possible. Thankfully, 丝瓜AV President, Dr. Abel Ch谩vez, was ready to grab the check and head straight for the ATM. 

While he wasn't able to fit it in a standard drive-through tube, this check from H-E-B will nonetheless be used to empower our next generation of professionals and leaders in San Antonio. 

The University extends its appreciation to H-E-B for its generosity and for investing in opportunities that shape the future of 丝瓜AV students and the broader San Antonio community. Partnerships like this one help ensure students have access to the experiences and preparation needed to step into high-demand careers.
